Just like you and I, having a pet is a way to feel loved- something everyone requires. It's someone to talk to, be cared for, pets help to swallow up the feeling of loneliness, helplessness and more. Being homeless is a situation we hope no one finds themselves in, but it happens all too often. Most times, homeless people will provide for their animals before they provide for themselves.

In Los Angeles alone, 1 in 200 people are finding themselves without food or shelter.
Once a person is homeless, it is a daily struggle to survive. With a pet, it becomes more difficult.
With your help, we can make sure the homeless and their pets/families are not in pain, have full bellies, shelter and a community that cares!
Finding food, shelter, veterinary and medical care for the recipients of Animal Aid Network is taking action to help the homeless communities across Los Angeles County.
